Acceptance of terms

By using US Waste Index (the "Site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

What the Site is

US Waste Index is a directory of waste-handling facilities built from public regulatory records, currently EPA ECHO Exporter and RCRAInfo, plus profile details submitted by facility operators who claim a listing. See Methodology for how records are compiled.

Data accuracy

Regulatory data reflects the most recent EPA snapshot we've ingested and may lag the official record. We make no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any information on the Site. Always verify against EPA ECHO before making a compliance, procurement, or legal decision.

Quote requests

Submitting the "Get Quotes" form is a request for us to route your project to relevant waste-service providers — it is not a purchase, a guaranteed response, or a contract with US Waste Index. We don't guarantee that a provider will respond, that any quote you receive will be accurate or available, or that a provider we route your request to is the best fit for your needs. Any agreement you reach with a provider is between you and that provider; US Waste Index is not a party to it and isn't responsible for a provider's pricing, licensing, insurance, or performance. Claimed listings

A facility operator who claims a profile may add a description, contact information, and services offered. By submitting that content, you confirm you're authorized to represent the facility and that the information is accurate. We may edit or remove claimed content that is false, misleading, or violates these terms. Regulatory data on a claimed profile is never editable by the claimant.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Site to scrape or republish data at scale without permission, misrepresent your affiliation with a facility, or attempt to interfere with the Site's normal operation.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, US Waste Index is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Site changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
